William Morris & Floppy Hats

September 13, 2015

Now if you've read my blog for any length of time or follow my Instagram, you'll know I'm a sucker for floral prints (just last week I bought a vintage curtain of florals, I don't know what I'll make yet, but I will find something!). This dress was no exception, as I spotted it in New Look's Spring sale for £6. The William Morris style print is right up my street, and it's perfect for the Autumn transition worn with a pair of knee high socks and a black bag.

Finally, the hat. I've been on the lookout for the right burgundy floppy hat for a year or so now, and I can't quite justify £28 for the Topshop ones. We were driving through town the other day and passed a local boutique called SNOB, who had these hats in the window. I popped in the a couple of days later, after my work shift and saw they were only £12-possibly the fastest I've spent my work money I hate to admit!. It's quite a versatile piece that I can't wait to wear over the colder months!
