A very vintage weekend...

By October 18, 2014 , , , , ,

Last weekend I paid a little visit local vintage fair for the afternoon, which of course is a great way to spend the time! The photos show off the the day much better than I can explain it, but the event had a great atmosphere with retro music and the stalls were covered in dozens of glittering clutches, brooches and fluffy fur coats. There was also an abundance of lace trimming, buttons and haberdashery from The Washer Woman, who had a very pretty stall which I couldn't help but photograph!

After the fair, we popped to a nearby village and visited a little coffee shop, serving everything on vintage china. Everything was so charming and mismatched, and my carrot cake came served with fresh berries and a dusting of icing sugar. I could quite easily have stayed there all day, the food was delicious and the décor was super pretty; 1930's record players, Cath Kidston wallpaper and little toadstool salt and pepper shakers were all so cute!
